Uluru Bar& Grill

Uluru Bar & Grill occupies 3-5 Market Street in Armagh's historic city centre, spread across two floors with seating for around 160. Owner Gavin Emerson took on the restaurant and carried out a substantial refurbishment; head chef Mark McGonigle worked alongside the previous owner for twelve years before taking over the kitchen himself. The menu draws on Australian dining habits, built around a charcoal grill for steaks and burgers, with stone-baked pizzas and seafood alongside, and the business describes itself as the only Australian-style restaurant in Northern Ireland. Its wine list won a regional industry award in 2025. It opens for lunch and dinner Tuesday to Sunday, with last orders extended on Friday and Saturday evenings, and operates as a single independent restaurant rather than part of a chain.
