All Aboard Boating hires self-drive motor boats from the River Mill on School Lane in Eaton Socon, on the edge of St Neots, for trips along the River Great Ouse. No boating experience or licence is required; each hire includes a safety briefing before customers set off upstream or downstream at their own pace. The fleet comprises three boats: Dory and Nemo, each seating four, and the eight-seat Bruce, hired by the hour, half day or full day with fuel included in the price and a refundable deposit taken at the start. The business runs daily from 10am to sunset between April and October, with online booking recommended in peak season. It offers one of the few opportunities on this stretch of the Ouse valley to explore the river independently rather than as a passenger, taking in the water meadows and mill backwaters around St Neots at a slow pace.
