Ambassador Townhouse occupies a Victorian townhouse at 13 Bath Street in Southport, run since August 2017 by owners Tony and Kathie. The B&B has eight guest bedrooms, each named after one of Queen Victoria's children: Alexandrina, Helena, Victoria, Alice, Beatrice, Leopold, Edward and Louise. A previous incarnation of the property won Guest Accommodation of the Year 2009-2010 for the Liverpool City Region, and the current owners have since been named Proprietor of the Year four times at the Southport Ambassador Awards. The townhouse sits within walking distance of Lord Street and Southport promenade, and is registered with the Visit Britain accreditation scheme. It belongs to the Southport Hotels Association and the Southport Business Improvement District. As a single-property guest house rather than part of a group, Ambassador Townhouse trades solely from this one Bath Street address, with breakfast served to residents each morning.
