Housed in Hawes' former Victorian railway station at Station Yard, Burtersett Road, this museum tells the story of the people and places of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Family-friendly galleries are joined by an outdoor trail, changing exhibitions and an events programme, plus a shop selling Distinctly Dales products from local artists and makers. Children visit free and admission tickets stay valid for seven days. The on-site cafe is currently closed. Part of the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority.
