Fire andFlux Ceramics

Fire and Flux Ceramics occupies a Grade II listed building on Lower Goat Lane in the Norwich Lanes. Potters Gwyn Durand-Grace and Karen Kavanagh set up the gallery-studio together in 2016; Kavanagh stepped away from the business in 2020, and Durand-Grace has run it alone since, showing her own ceramics alongside work from a changing roster of studio potters. Beyond the gallery and sales floor, the building houses workspace that independent potters can rent on a rolling four-week basis, along with teaching sessions covering wheel-throwing and hand-building for beginners and more advanced students. Private viewings can be arranged outside normal hours. The gallery is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm, and closed on Sunday and Monday.
