Flourish

Flourish occupies a ground-floor unit at 111 High Street in Dumfries, within the Midsteeple Quarter regeneration project beside the old Midsteeple building. The gift shop stocks work from more than one hundred small producers and makers, spanning cards, jewellery, ceramics, food, and accessories, and runs a refillery at the back of the shop for household cleaning and bath products sold by weight. It opens Tuesday to Saturday, ten until five, closed Sunday and Monday. The shop was one of the first tenants to move into the Midsteeple Quarter's restored buildings, part of a wider community-led project bringing empty High Street units back into use. It trades as a single independent shop, with the upper floors of the building given over to workshop and meeting space rather than further retail branches.
