Foam Edge

Foam Edge is a small seafront guest house on West Drive in Porthcawl, run by owners Hywel and Helen. It has two guest rooms, Hugo Bank and Tusker Rock, both facing the sea with views across the Bristol Channel towards the North Devon and Somerset coasts and, on clear days, Swansea Bay. The house is a single, owner-occupied property rather than a hotel, and the two-room scale keeps it personal, with breakfast and local knowledge part of the stay. It sits on the western side of Porthcawl within walking distance of Rest Bay, the coast path and the town's seafront, making it a base for walkers, surfers and visitors to the Glamorgan Heritage Coast. The rooms are set up for couples and short breaks, and the elevated position gives both an open outlook over the water.
