FOLK is a small espresso-and-bakery on Forthill Street in Enniskillen, opened around 2019 by Michael McKenzie, who trained in New Zealand's café trade, and his Fermanagh-born wife. It does French patisserie and sourdough baked on site alongside coffee poured the antipodean way — flat whites, careful extraction — and grew, in the way the best small places do, on a base of a few hundred locals who order ahead. It is a micro-business by size and a fixture by affection, the sort of morning room a town builds its habits around. Good bread, proper coffee, and the discipline to keep doing both well.
