Fountain Fine Art has traded from 115 Rhosmaen Street in Llandeilo since 1989, when it was founded by Richard Braine, who still owns the gallery. It shows and sells work by Welsh and Wales-based painters, printmakers and sculptors, changing its hang through the year rather than running as a single fixed collection. The gallery occupies a single shopfront in the town centre, with no second branch elsewhere, and has built a client base among collectors of contemporary Welsh art over more than three decades of trading from the same address. Alongside represented artists, the gallery also deals in selected antique furniture and decorative pieces, a combination that has remained part of its stock since Braine opened the doors.
