Foxfield Garden Centre has traded as an independent, family-run nursery on the A595 between Foxfield and Grizebeck since 1989, on the edge of the Lake District in southwest Cumbria. What began as a heather and conifer specialist has broadened over three decades into a wider range of perennials, shrubs, climbers, alpines, herbs and roses, much of it grown on site. Compost, garden sundries and, in season, Christmas trees and wreaths round out the stock. The centre supplies gardens across the surrounding Duddon Valley and coastal plain, with staff able to advise on plants suited to Cumbria's wetter growing conditions. It remains a single-site business run by the same family that founded it, rather than part of a wider group.
