Ann Goodfellow, a working ceramic artist who has exhibited and taught internationally, opened Ivy House Gallery on King Street in 2021, at the quiet end of the street opposite the churchyard. Goodfellow specialises in contemporary painting alongside figurative ceramics, sculpture and studio pottery, choosing a small, changing roster of makers rather than a fixed inventory. The rooms are kept deliberately minimal, with white walls and even lighting used to let individual pieces stand out rather than compete with décor. Ivy House is approved by the Arts Council of Wales to offer Collectorplan, an interest-free scheme that lets buyers spread the cost of a piece over twelve monthly payments. The gallery adjusts its hours seasonally, opening later in winter and staying open into early evening through summer, and Goodfellow remains its sole owner and curator.
