Natasha Swan Ceramics works from a studio on Kings Road in Whitehead, set up by potter Natasha Swan in 2020 after her parents converted their garage into her first workspace. Swan trained at Ulster University and completed the Pottery Skills Course run by the Design and Craft Council of Ireland before working at potteries elsewhere in the country. She throws mugs, bowls and homeware on the wheel, combining traditional technique with contemporary glazes and forms. The shop opens to browsers every Saturday morning, and Swan runs seasonal one-to-one workshops for visitors who want to try the wheel themselves, fitted around her production schedule. Her husband Craig and their dog Bamse are regular fixtures at the studio. Weekday visits outside the Saturday opening are possible by appointment only.
