Nichol End Marine is a family-run marina on the western shore of Derwentwater, hiring kayaks, canoes, paddleboards and sailing dinghies by the hour or half-day. The site also holds moorings and small-craft storage for local boat owners, and runs a lakeside cafe serving scones, cakes and hot drinks between outings.
