The Drewe Arms is a Grade II listed, thatched free house in the Blackdown Hills village of Broadhembury, run independently by a family team. The building dates from the 16th century and retains beamed ceilings, an inglenook fireplace and a large enclosed garden used for outdoor dining through summer. The kitchen works with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients for a menu served at lunch and dinner, alongside a rotating choice of West Country cask ales. A small number of ensuite rooms upstairs let visitors stay overnight in the village itself. Quiz nights run through the winter months and live music is booked periodically. Free on-road parking is available outside. The pub is open seven days a week, though it closes on Mondays during January.
