The Hide Café& Deli

The Hide Café & Deli occupies a corner unit on Market Place in Pocklington, opened in 2020 by local resident Jules and his partner Charlotte. The licensed café serves breakfast, lunch and dinner through the week, with a menu that draws on modern European influences alongside familiar café staples, all prepared on the premises from seasonal ingredients. A deli counter runs alongside the main dining room, stocked with homemade cakes, artisan breads and local produce for takeaway. Separate breakfast, lunch, Sunday and children's menus are offered, along with a takeaway service for those passing through. The café is open Monday to Saturday from 8.30am to 5pm and Sunday from 9am to 4pm. Market Place sits at the centre of Pocklington, within walking distance of the town's other independent shops and the parish church.
