Thingwall Nurseries

Thingwall Nurseries trades from a single site on Lower Thingwall Lane on the Wirral peninsula, reached along a single-track lane off the main road rather than a retail park frontage. The nursery stocks more than a thousand plant varieties, ranging from small houseplants to established fruit trees, alongside shrubs, hanging baskets, pots, composts and fertilisers. Unlike larger garden centre chains, the business does not stock gifts, furniture or clothing, keeping its floor space to plants and growing supplies. A trade team supplies quantities of plants and shrubs to landscapers, professional gardeners, garden centres and designers across Merseyside and Cheshire, alongside retail customers buying for their own gardens. The nursery is open seven days a week, from nine in the morning until half past four, with free on-site parking, and operates as a single, independently run plant centre rather than part of a wider group.
