Wilkinson Goldsmiths

Wilkinson Goldsmiths is a small independent workshop and showroom on Market Harborough's High Street, occupying a Grade II listed building in the town centre. Work is made by hand on the premises across precious metals, from bespoke commissions and engagement and wedding rings to pendants and earrings. Alongside new pieces, the bench handles repairs and restorations, ring sizing and alterations, stone resetting, and rhodium plating and gilding, as well as insurance work. Because design and making happen in-house, customers can discuss a commission directly with the maker rather than ordering from a catalogue. The showroom keeps compact hours, opening Thursday to Saturday, which reflects the time spent at the bench during the rest of the week. It is a single-site, owner-run business rather than part of a chain of jewellers.
