Boudica Pottery

Charlotte runs Boudica Pottery from a studio on Abbey Park in Louth, teaching hand-building and wheel-throwing to small groups rather than large workshops. Sessions are kept deliberately small, with weekly classes running alongside one-off taster sessions, holiday courses for children and teenagers, and Paint a Pot afternoons where customers decorate ready-made ceramics. Charlotte taught for decades before setting up on her own, and the studio is built around the idea that nobody needs to get it right on the first attempt: wheelchair access is provided and sessions are adapted for neurodivergent participants who want a calmer pace. Beginners sit alongside people who have attended for years, working at their own bench with one-to-one guidance rather than group instruction. Finished pieces are fired on site and collected once glazed.
