Cartwheel CoffeeRoasters

Alex Bitsios-Esposito and his wife Becci started Cartwheel in 2015 and built it into one of Nottingham's longer-running independent coffee roasters, roasting on-site at Roden House in Sneinton and pouring it in a café on Stoney Street in Beeston. It is a small, owner-led operation — a head roaster, an assistant, and a clear idea of what good coffee is — supplying cafés across the area and selling its beans direct. In a city whose independent coffee scene has grown fast, Cartwheel is one of the roasters that set the pace. Drink it in Beeston, or take a bag of the roast home.
