Denbies Wine Estate covers 265 acres of vines on the chalk slopes below Ranmore Common, England's largest single-estate vineyard. Christopher White's family has owned and run the operation since planting the first vines in 1986, producing every bottle from grapes grown on site. The chateau-style winery opened in 1993 and now produces close to a million bottles a year, including the bestselling Surrey Gold blend. Visitors join vineyard train tours, book tastings in the Wine Library Brasserie, or eat in the Gallery Restaurant overlooking the valley. Denbies holds B Corp certification and describes itself as the UK's first Net Zero vineyard. The estate fronts London Road on the edge of Dorking and opens daily throughout the year.
