Fiume is an Italian restaurant on Bridgnorth Road in the Compton area of Wolverhampton, opened in 2013 by husband and wife Stefano and Carla Scaringi. Stefano's cooking draws on his family's roots in Sardinia and Carla's in Basilicata, with pasta made in house, regional fish and meat dishes, and a wine list weighted toward small Italian producers. The couple marked ten years of trading in 2023, the same week they picked up their second consecutive Best Italian Restaurant award for the Midlands at the Food Awards England, having also been named the best Italian restaurant in England. The dining room seats guests across the ground floor of a converted house, with a private dining room available for bookings, plus a takeaway and delivery menu. The restaurant has built a following among diners travelling from across the Black Country and Staffordshire for its regional Italian menu, and continues to be run day to day by the Scaringi family.
