Adam Stokes opened his first restaurant as a pop-up in 2013 and won a Michelin star within six months, becoming the fourth Michelin-starred restaurant in Birmingham. In January 2016 he and his wife Natasha, who runs the front of house, moved into New Oxford House on Waterloo Street, converting a former insurance office into a three-floor restaurant with a 36-cover dining room on the ground floor and a chef's table for twelve. The kitchen holds three AA rosettes and a place in the Good Food Guide's top 50. Stokes builds his tasting menu around British produce, changing it with the seasons. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner Monday to Friday only, closing on Saturday and Sunday.
