Goachers Brewery

Goachers Brewery was founded in 1983 by Phil and Debbie Goacher, initially working from premises near Hayle Mill before moving in 1990 to its current site at Tovil Green Business Park on the edge of Maidstone. It remains an independent, family-founded brewery producing cask and bottled ales including Real Mild, Fine Light Ale, and Crown Imperial Stout, several of which have been recognised by CAMRA. Brewing follows traditional methods, with beer supplied largely to free houses and independent pubs across Kent rather than sold through a wider retail chain. The brewery is not generally open for casual retail visits, and sales to the public are handled by arrangement rather than regular shop hours. It has operated from the same Tovil site for over three decades.
