Ground by Bringingthe Outside In

Ground trades from a shopfront on Staithe Street, next door to its sister shop Bringing the Outside In, and serves locally roasted coffee alongside soups, grilled sandwiches, salad boxes and a changing cake counter. The room carries the same botanical, plant-filled look as the homeware shop beside it, with bar seating along the window and outdoor tables set out on warmer days. Staithe Street runs directly up from Wells quay, and the shop is one of the few spots on it with outside seating that catches the sun through the afternoon. The two shops share opening hours and staff, and reviewers regularly single out the sausage rolls alongside the coffee.
