Halcyon Garden occupies a former electrical repair shop on Garden Lane in Chester's Garden Quarter. Companies House records show Amrik Singh Bhamra registered the business in December 2021, reopening the space the following year as the city's first micropub, previously known as Goat & Munch. The bar is built from reclaimed pallet wood, with a side room of sofas for quieter conversation. Up to four cask ales rotate alongside keg beers and real cider, chosen independently rather than tied to a single brewery. The pub keeps short hours, opening from 4pm on weekdays and 2pm at weekends, and stays closed on Mondays. Dogs are welcome throughout the small footprint.
