Jenny Watts on Bangor's High Street dates from 1780 and is generally reckoned to be the town's oldest public house, with stone walls, a central bar and a beer garden to the rear. It is independently run rather than tied to a brewery chain, and hosts live music on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday nights alongside a small nightclub space upstairs at weekends. The pub draws a mixed crowd of regulars and visitors passing through the seafront town.
