This 17th-century coaching inn on Reepham's market place is run by Lynette and Mark, who have built a reputation locally for cask ale, local gins and a broad wine list. Three open fires, oak floors, exposed Norfolk brick and ancient beams run across three levels of the building, including a function room used for private events. The bar has featured in CAMRA's Good Beer Guide every year since 1995. Food is served at lunch and in the evening Tuesday to Saturday, with a Wednesday curry night, and the pub is closed on Mondays. Dogs are welcome throughout, and there's a beer garden for warmer months. The building itself is a listed heritage asset, one of a handful of surviving coaching inns still trading as a pub in this part of Norfolk.
