Paul and Sally Solloway run Romsey Butchers from 10 Bell Street, a shop that has traded as a family butcher since 1858. Paul worked at the counter for 29 years under previous owner Barry Drummond before he and Sally took over the business. Sally bakes in-house, and the shop's own bacon, sausages, pies and pastries sit alongside British beef, free-range pork from Arun Meats and English lamb from southern farms, with fish and seafood delivered quick-frozen. The shop was voted Local Retailer of the Year in 2021 and holds a five-star food hygiene rating. Daily, weekly and monthly delivery rounds run alongside phone and online ordering. It opens Monday to Friday from 7.30am and Saturday from 7am, closed Sundays.
