Rose Wood Jewellery is a jeweller's studio in Cardigan run by designer-maker Rose Wood, who holds a first-class BA Hons in Jewellery Design from Middlesex University and has exhibited work at Goldsmiths' Hall and Yorkshire Sculpture Park since 2009. She has taught silver and gold jewellery-making at her Cardigan studio since 2014, running day-long workshops in which visitors make their own rings, including wedding bands, using traditional bench techniques. Alongside teaching, Wood sells finished silver and gold pieces from the studio shop. Early in her career she received a Goldsmiths' Company Getting Started grant and won a creative-unit award at Aberystwyth Arts Centre. The studio operates as a single-site, owner-run business rather than a retail chain, combining a working jeweller's bench with a small teaching space and shop in the town.
