Sarah opened her pasty shop in a converted net store on Buller Street more than thirty years ago, one street back from East Looe's quay, and her eldest daughter Lucy has worn the apron strings — the family's phrase — for the past nineteen years, while Lucy's sister Sophie runs the cake shop along the same street. The pasties are hand-crimped and baked fresh on site every day, made in view of the shop, with vegan and gluten-free versions and a postal service for the homesick. Television keeps finding it — The One Show, Countryfile, Great British Menu — and the shop keeps baker's hours: nine to three, Monday to Saturday.
