Ship Inn

The Ship Inn occupies a corner site on Quality Street in North Berwick, close to the harbour and beach, and has traded under the same name for many years as one of the town's established real-ale pubs. It keeps three cask ales alongside a wider bottled range and is listed by CAMRA among the area's notable pubs. The kitchen serves a menu built around locally landed fish and chips and a steak and ale pie, with vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options available on request. Sports screens showing football, golf and rugby run alongside the more traditional pub trade, and the venue accommodates families and dogs across most of its floor space. It is run as an independent limited company rather than as part of a managed pub estate, with current ownership in place since 2014. Food service runs from midday into the evening daily, with the bar open later at weekends, when it draws a mixed crowd of locals and visitors staying nearby.
