Slaughterhouse Brewery has operated out of a former Victorian slaughterhouse on Bridge Street in Warwick since Steve Ridgway founded it in 2003, brewing on a four-barrel plant that remains its size today. Ridgway's son Alex now runs the brewery as Master Brewer alongside Head Brewer Ryan, handling brewing, delivery, cask cleaning, and marketing without outside staff. The taproom opens Thursday to Sunday, pouring the brewery's own hand-pulled cask ale alongside craft beers on draught, in cans, and in bottles, with three changing beers on top of the regular range. The team designs its own pump clips by hand and trains local landlords directly rather than working through a wholesaler.
