Sweet William is a 10-metre catamaran built and skippered by Geoff Sharp, operating out of Royal Quays Marina in North Shields since entering service in 2022. The boat runs sea-angling trips for cod, ling and pollock, along with coastal sightseeing charters up the Tyne to the Millennium Bridge, where dolphins are sometimes spotted, plus photography trips, lobster and crab potting in summer, and ash-scattering charters. It is built and coded to commercial Seafish/MCA and RYA standards, carrying up to 12 passengers with two crew, and equipped with Furuno navigation and multibeam sonar. As a single boat run directly by its owner rather than a booking agency for multiple vessels, trips are arranged straight with the skipper rather than through a third-party operator.
