The Little Cheshire Gallery opened in a converted unit at 4 Cocoa Yard in Nantwich, where owner Anna Carter shows a changing selection of abstract and non-representational work from artists at different stages of their careers. Pieces are sourced from across the country rather than limited to local names, spanning mixed media portraiture, watercolour and equestrian subjects among others. The gallery is small, a single room off the yard's cobbled passage, but Carter offers a personal curation service, helping buyers match a piece to a particular wall or room rather than simply browsing what is in stock. It keeps standard retail hours through the week, closing on Sundays and Mondays. New work is rotated regularly enough that repeat visitors are likely to find something they have not seen before.
