The Wey Gallery has traded from Bridge Street in Godalming since May 2010, founded by Clare Richards and Julie Pugh-Jones, who both previously worked in art publishing and galleries in London and Surrey. The gallery represents more than 50 British artists, showing paintings, limited edition prints, sculpture, glass and ceramics sourced from across the country rather than a single house style. Exhibitions rotate through the year alongside a changing display of smaller works for buyers at different budgets. The gallery marked its fifteenth year of trading in May 2025 with an anniversary event, and takes part in art fairs beyond Godalming, including the Fresh Art Fair at Alexandra Palace. It is open Monday to Saturday, closed Sundays and bank holidays, with viewings by appointment outside those hours. Run day to day by its two founders rather than a gallery group, it remains one of Godalming's longer-established outlets for buying original contemporary art.
