Wight Aviation Museum occupies a hangar building at Sandown Airport and is run entirely by volunteers as a registered charity, with free admission. Displays cover the Island's aviation history through personal stories, eyewitness accounts and artefacts from wartime airfields and the Saunders-Roe seaplane era, with volunteers usually on hand to talk through individual exhibits.
