Adventure Nene runs from Sibson Lake on the Great North Road at Stibbington, next to the Nene Valley Railway's Wansford terminus, offering paddleboarding, canoeing, kayaking, raft building and open water swimming on the lake, plus land-based archery, axe throwing, climbing and bushcraft. Dan Wallace started the business in 2012 as a sole trader before incorporating it as Adventure Nene Ltd in 2022, and it remains a single-site operation rather than part of a wider outdoor-activities group. The centre's core season runs from March to October, with equipment hire, taster sessions and parties run alongside a heavier programme of school day trips, tented residentials and Duke of Edinburgh expeditions. Bookings are taken online or by phone rather than on a walk-up basis for most activities. Adventure Nene is listed by UK School Trips as an activity provider and holds the licensing needed to run its climbing and water sessions.
