Mountain bike centre in Gethin Woods above Abercanaid, opened in 2013 by Rowan Sorrell and Martin Astley. More than forty graded trails run down the hillside, served by what was the first year-round minibus uplift in Britain, so riders can climb by road rather than pedal. A bike shop, hire fleet, coaching and a cafe sit at the base.
