Coracle Tavern

The Coracle Tavern occupies 1 Cambrian Place in central Carmarthen as an independent freehouse, meaning no brewery or pub company holds its lease. Two changing cask ales rotate through the pumps, recent guests found Glamorgan Brewery's Jemimas Pitchfork alongside Wye Valley's Butty Bach. An open-plan bar leads to an upstairs room kept for private bookings and the local CAMRA branch's meetings. Darts teams play through the week, and card-carrying CAMRA members get a ten percent discount on drinks. Food runs Wednesday to Saturday mornings into early afternoon, built around homemade dishes using local produce. The pub closes Tuesdays, reopening Wednesday to Saturday until 11pm and Sunday afternoons.
