Buon Apps River Lounge has served Italian food from Hartley House on Mill Way in Otley since 2003, run by Alessandro and Sofia Elena. The restaurant occupies a converted paper mill on the banks of the River Wharfe, with indoor seating looking over the water, a covered heated terrace and an outdoor garden. Alessandro leads the kitchen making pinsas and lasagnes in-house, alongside a Sunday Italian roast and a set lunch and early-dinner menu. The business also sells cook-at-home pinsas and lasagnes, bespoke celebration cakes and gift cards. Trading runs Wednesday to Sunday, closed Monday and Tuesday. The mill building gives the dining room exposed brick and timber to go with its river views.
