The Levetts have farmed the Kent Weald for over a hundred and fifty years, and Chris and Sheenagh Levett — with son Christian — have run a farm shop at Cranbrook since 1999: first at Hartley Dyke, whose name still clings to old directories, then from 2014 at Charity Farm on Swattenden Lane, where the rebrand to Cranbrook Farm Shop marked the move and 2024 marked ten years on the new ground. The orchards grow the apples and cherries, the butchery and deli do the counter work, and a coffee house keeps visitors on site long enough to buy more. The guide records the name change so nobody thinks two farm shops died when one merely moved.
