Delphic Brewing Company began brewing in Thatcham before opening a purpose-built brewery and taproom on Mayors Lane in Newbury in July 2024. The single open-plan space has a bar at the front, brewing kit visible behind a low wall at the back, and a curved ceiling that gives it an airy, warehouse feel. Beers are brewed on site in cask and keg, with the taproom pouring the current range alongside occasional guest lines. It functions as Newbury's own brewery tap rather than a conventional pub, with tasting events and a straightforward approach to service. The move from a much smaller original site reflected growing demand for the beers locally. It remains an independent, single-site operation with no other bars or taprooms elsewhere.
