John and Sue Rudden have run Grassington House on The Square since 2008, with John leading the kitchen as chef. The Sunday roast features beef slow-roasted for fourteen hours, served alongside a seasonal menu built around Dales produce. Boutique bedrooms upstairs come with roll-top baths and views over the market square, while a separate bar and terrace serve casual drinks and lunches away from the main dining room. The restaurant holds two AA Rosettes and Cask Marque certification for its cellar management. Grassington House sits at 5 The Square in the centre of the village, within walking distance of the National Park visitor centre.
