Britain's first theatre built specifically for puppet performances, opened in 1958 by architect and puppeteer Eric Bramall on the promenade at Rhos-on-Sea. The hundred-seat wooden building houses around a thousand marionettes and stages traditional glove and string puppet shows for children and adults during school holiday seasons. Still run independently.
