King's Farm Shop trades from Nash Lee End on the edge of Wendover, established by Garry King in 1981 after Wild's Butcher's Shop on Aylesbury Road changed hands and butcher Fred Simmonds joined him to serve customers wanting individual cuts rather than whole carcasses. The shop doubled in size by 1983 and added a cold room and freezer in 1989. Garry's son Matt now runs much of the day-to-day business, which sells meat, cheeses, quiches, condiments and vegetables sourced from the local area, alongside a butchery counter offering twelve varieties of sausage made on the premises, including a house recipe called the Wendover Royal. The shop holds a five-out-of-five Food Hygiene Rating from Buckinghamshire Council, awarded in January 2023. It delivers free within ten miles of Wendover and remains an independent, single-site family business rather than part of a farm shop chain.
