Murton FarmShop

Murton Farm Shop trades from 34 Manselfield Road, Murton, on land the Evans family has worked since the shop's establishment in 1864, making it one of the older market gardening businesses on Gower. Vegetables, soft fruit and cut flowers are grown on the surrounding fields and sold within days of picking; the shop also stocks Welsh cheese, apple juice, jams, chutneys, speciality flour, coal and logs, and bedding plants and Christmas trees in season. It opens two days a week only, Friday from 8am to 5pm and Saturday from 8am to 4pm, reflecting its roots as a working farm rather than a retail-first operation. The shop sits close to Bishopston and Newton, drawing custom from across south Gower for produce grown within sight of the till.
