Oak Farm is a working farm at Gwehelog outside Usk, run by Alicia and Christopher, who converted outbuildings around the 17th-century farmhouse's courtyard into self-catering accommodation. Three units are let: the Bothy, a two-bedroom cottage with a king bed upstairs and a sofa bed in the living room; the Stable, a one-bedroom conversion with a kitchenette and log burner; and Cleo's Stable, a further one-bedroom unit with its own kitchen and shower room. All three have wifi, television and a wood-burning stove, and guests are given bread, jam and marmalade made on the farm. The property sits on 20 acres of pasture in the Usk valley, is dog-friendly and welcomes children, with Usk itself under two miles away. Oak Farm operates as a single, family-run holiday letting business rather than a hotel chain, with each cottage booked separately through the farm's own website.
