Oriel Gallery

Oriel Gallery occupies a High Street unit at Tyn y Coed Buildings in Barmouth, a short walk from the harbour, and operates as an independent picture gallery rather than part of a chain. The stock is built around fine art prints, original paintings and photography of the Barmouth coastline and the wider Meirionnydd area, alongside a smaller range of the gallery's own designs reproduced on mugs, coasters and placemats. A framing workshop is run from the same premises, making up frames for customers' own pictures as well as for gallery stock. The gallery keeps seasonal hours, open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm between April and October, with Sunday afternoon opening added during the summer months and reduced hours over winter, when framing orders continue to be taken by appointment.
