Quayside Bookshop has traded from the same premises on Northumberland Place in Teignmouth for over three decades, run since December 2007 by Rhona and Chris and their daughter Izzy. The shop mixes new and secondhand titles across fiction, biography, gardening, cookery and religion, with a dedicated room at the rear given over to transport, covering maritime, aviation and railway subjects, alongside fine art greetings cards, maps, framed prints, CDs and DVDs. Stock blends quality secondhand copies with current releases, many sold below cover price. The shop is a registered stockist for National Book Tokens. It is open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm, with earlier closing possible between January and Easter or during poor weather.
