Richard Young opened his Wokingham gallery in November 2021 after two decades working as a professional artist, and runs it as a family business with his wife Sarah. The Denmark Street gallery shows originals and limited-edition prints across landscapes, wildlife, florals, abstracts and sculpture, sourced from a mix of local and national artists. A second unit at Holme Grange Craft Village handles the framing side of the business: bespoke picture framing, canvas stretching, giclée printing and art restoration, all done in-house rather than sent out to a trade framer. Richard's own paintings sit alongside stock from other artists on the gallery walls. Customers can also arrange home viewings, where pieces are brought to a house before purchase, and the gallery takes on restoration work for damaged or faded paintings and prints.
